PSG’S Gianluigi Donnarumma and partner Alessia Elefante attacked as Thieves Vanish with Valuables
Gianluigi Donnarumma, a goalkeeper for Paris Saint-Germain and Italy, and his partner Alessia Elefante were attacked and robbed on Thursday night, displaying the targets that gangs are making out of PSG players.
The residence of Gianluigi Donnarumma and his companion is said to have been the scene of an assault and robbery.
In the past, while representing PSG, players like Angel Di Maria, Dani Alves, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Sergio Rico, Icardi, and captain Marquinhos have suffered as a result.
The two were stripped and bound after burglars forced open their front door. Actu17 claims that the robbers made off with items valued at about €500,000.
After seeking safety in a neighboring hotel, Donnarumma and his companion Alessia Elefante raised the alarm with assistance from hotel workers, and the terrified couple was then escorted to the hospital.
Following the occurrences that happened overnight at the goalkeeper’s home, an investigation has been opened into possible accusations of armed robbery, gang kidnapping, and severe violence.
Prior to leaving for home on Thursday, Donnarumma participated in a preseason training session at Paris Saint-Germain’s recently opened training facility.
Since moving from AC Milan to Paris Saint-Germain in 2021, Donnarumma has been a member of the team. He has played 72 times for PSG and won two Ligue 1 titles.
This weekend marks the start of the French champs’ summer tour in South Korea and Japan.
