Celebrating Eid-ul-Adha with Faith, Unity, and Generosity.
On June 29, Eid-Ul-Adha, commonly referred to as Bakri or Bakra Eid, set to occur. Eid-ul-Adha, often referred to as the Feast of Sacrifice, is a major religious holiday observed by Muslims all around the world. It honors Prophet Ibrahim’s readiness to offer his son as a sacrifice in response to God’s mandate. Muslims all across the world are preparing to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha, the second most fortunate Islamic festival, with their families and friends.
The largest and oldest socio religious organization of Indian Muslims, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, has declared that June 29 will be Eid-Ul-Adha. On the same day as India, Bakri will also be observed in Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Japan Bangladesh, and Singapore. However Saudi Arabia will observe the holiday On June 28.
