Bayern Munich Humble Manchester United at the Allianz Arena
Bayern Munich won 4-3 at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday against struggling Manchester United in an epic Uefa Champions’ league group stage clash.
England captain Harry Kane assisted Leroy Sane whose shot slipped past Manchester United’s stopper Andre Onana to give Bayern the lead.
Serge Gnabry added Bayern’s second just a few minutes later after a clever run past Manchester United players by Jamal Musiala to provide the assist.
Rasmus Hojlund scored his first goal for United to reduce the deficit earlier in the second half with a cleaver shot past Bayern’s goal keeper.
Harry Kane who had been linked with a move to United from Tottenham, scored his first Champion’s league goal in a Bayern Munich shirt from the penalty spot after the referee handed the home team a penalty as a result of Christian Eriksen’s handball to extend Bayern’s lead.

Casemiro scored twice in the seven goals match thriller in the second half which ended 4-3 in favor of the home side.
Andre Onana took the blame for United’s loss away at Bayern Munich stating he is the one to blame.

“It’s a difficult situation for us, for me especially because I’m the one who let the team down … We just have to move on,” Onana stated. “This is the life of a goalkeeper and, if we didn’t win today, it’s because of me”. The team went down because of that mistake. I have to learn from it and be strong, move on … It was one of my worst games” he added.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag defended the goal keeper stating “in football there will always be mistakes”… Onana will “bounce back” from the error.

Manchester United sit last in the group after the defeat and will play Galatasary early October.
United have suffered four defeats out of five since the start of the season in August and will play Burnley in the Premier league on this coming weekend.
Elsewhere Arsenal registered their first win in the Uefa Champions’ league group stage after outclassing PSV Eindhoven 4-0 at the emirates stadium thanks to goals by Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard to send them two points clear top of the group.
