HARRY MAGUIRE SET TO JOIN WESTHAM

West Ham have agreed a deal in principle to sign Manchester United Center Back Harry Maguire for a reported fee for 30million pounds. With Personal Terms yet to be agreed, Manchester United have agreed to sell the world’s most expensive Center Back to West Ham United.

Harry Maguire who was stripped off the Captaincy by united manager Eric Ten Hag, this off-season, has featured 16 times for the club last season with 8 of them coming of the bench. Harry Maguire is seen as not to be the type of Centre Back that United want from the playing style. With his England starting spot hanging on the balance, Harry Maguire’s playing time needs to improve as Lewi Colwill who is upcoming, will challenge Harry Maguire for his England spot.

Manchester United are attempting to sign a center-back as Maguire edges closer to leaving the club.

West Ham submitted an improved offer for Maguire on Tuesday and United have accepted the offer in principle. Harry Maguire joined United for £80m in August 2019 and was appointed club captain in January 2020. United’s defensive record improved but he has been out of form since he returned to the club after a superb European Championship in the summer of 2021.
